Metamaterials Technologies Inc. is launching new products which block laser light from interfering with the vision of pilots, police and military personnel – a growing global problem. We need you to build relationships with high potential customers, introduce our products and make sales.
You will be joining a small high performing team in a business that is poised for rapid growth as we launch new products aimed at aerospace, law enforcement and defense customers.
We are recruiting for two positions, one in North America and one in Europe.

Responsibilities:
Identify high potential customers for Lamda Guard products
Use creativity and a variety of communication styles to build relationships with clients and to ensure our products meet their requirements
Using knowledge of the market and existing contacts, identify and develop compelling value propositions for customers
Forecast sales revenues and meet sales targets
Ensure data is accurately entered and managed in the company’s sales management systems

Experience and Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience in selling to defence law enforcement markets
A track record of having met sales targets
Demonstrably a successful ‘Hunter’: ability to generate leads and quickly get in front of the right buyers for prospective customers.
Ability to clearly identify and articulate customer value generated by high technology products
At least 5 years sales experience, with at least two years selling products or services to law enforcement or defense customers;
Military or police force experience is desired; a BBA or MBA is preferred, but not essential
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, listening, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Driven to meet sales objectives and to provide an excellent experience for your customers throughout the sales process
For the European position, ability to conduct business in English and another European language is desirable

The experienced, mid-level Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) professional will lead the ILS effort for the development and sustainment of our products in support of the Canadian Department of National Defense. The ILS Manager will define, develop and manage the support resources for the life cycle material management of a broad range of Rockwell Collins systems and equipment. Our job is to make sure the war fighter can do his or her job. The ILS Manager defines the support capability to make that happen for the life of the equipment from concept to retirement.

Job Responsibilities Include:
• Providing oversight and direction for all logistics and related functions to customers, program managers and business leadership.
• Managing all logistics functional elements assigned to the program, including compliance with contract requirements, budget, schedule and product quality.
• Develop and prepare detailed plans and presentations implementing logistics support concepts and strategies, specifically defining materials and services required to successfully support stated and derived program requirements, including subcontractor requirements packages and training of other ILS personnel.
• Review program proposals with logistics content to ensure compliance with contract requirements and bid strategies. Identify ILS related risk and opportunities related to proposed approaches/solutions.
• Oversee all aspects of the repair cycle to track status and meet customer program requirements
• Provide representation to Subcontracts for logistics sections of all project subcontracts and related logistics subcontracts.
• Prepare pursuit and order capture strategies and lead the logistics IPDT for preparation of proposals and business pursuit presentations.
• Establish, implement, and track the financial, schedule and technical performance requirements for the logistics elements of a program

Job Requirements include:
• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline
• CANADIAN CITIZENSHIP - must be able to obtain Government of Canada security clearance up to the Secret level and access to controlled goods
• Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) experience on DND acquisition or sustainment activity
• Knowledge of ILS/IPS elements and interfaces with program management, engineering, and operations
• Ability to interpret government/OEM statement of work, specifications, and contract requirements.

The Americas Business Development team has the mandate to grow Rockwell Collins Government Systems business in the region by promoting and selling its products, solutions and services. Key Responsibilities

• Analyzes whether the opportunity is real and whether we can win based on customer most important requirements and competitive landscape

• Accountable for Orders forecast (annual operating plan, 5-yr strategic plan)

Qualifications and attributes
• Prior business development experience in sales, account management, marketing within the Defense industry
• Knowledge of and/or experience with military communications, data links and networking
• Proven track record of growing a set of accounts (orders / sales growth)
• Demonstrated passion to win and ability to create and convert leads into opportunities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written)
• Strong work ethic and accountability; critical thinking skills
• Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience

Esri Canada Limited has an immediate requirement in the NCR office for a Pre Sales Technical Solutions Specialist to support the sales efforts in the Defence, Intelligence, Security and Public Safety sectors. This position will report to the NCR Regional Director and work closely with the NCR Account Managers, Industry Managers and Professional Services Manager to demonstrate ArcGIS based template solutions and provide GIS technical advice to clients and business partners.

Pre-Sales Technical Solutions Specialist responsibilities include:
Pre-sales activities are designed to lead to the sale of products and services offered by Esri Canada. These activities are performed during sales calls, site visits, seminars, proposals, trade shows etc...
• Team up with account managers and industry managers to provide technical support and generate sales for key and emerging accounts.
• Advise customers on GIS requirements and strategies, architectures, products selection, and release planning.
• Leverage existing ArcGIS industry solutions and deliver effective demonstrations of ArcGIS products and solutions that address client needs and competitive situations.
• Work with the Esri Redlands development group, Esri Washington DC National Government team, Esri Canada’s Technology Strategy Group and Business Partners as required to design, develop and maintain National Security solution demonstrations.
• Assist customers on decisions regarding software solutions, professional services’ needs, business partner selection, and training requirements.
• Assist clients and business partners in integrating ArcGIS technology with their respective products and organizational data.

Post-sales activities are designed to continue and expand the use of products and services offered by Esri Canada and generate additional sales, development of good references, creation of customer satisfaction, and enhancement of Esri Canada's image as a solutions provider.
• Team up with industry managers and account managers to perform regular key account reviews and follow ups.
• Act as a technical advisor to customers and partners to provide GIS strategy support.
• Perform fee-based requirements analysis and definition, product installation and other post-sales services required by customers as required
• Prepare and teach standard and customized Esri Canada training courses as required.

Specific skill requirements:
• Minimum 5 years technical experience working within the Defence/ Security GIS industry.
• Strong knowledge of GIS solutions for Military, Intelligence and Public Safety applications.
• Experience with Esri’s ArcGIS for Server and Desktop software products.
• Experience in presenting all aspects of Esri technology to analysts and decision makers.
• University Degree, College Diploma or relevant experience in a related field of study.
• Willingness to travel throughout Canada and US.
• Willingness to relocate to Ottawa in the NCR office.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret Security clearance.
