• Another win for OSI and the National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS)

• OSI's CG INBS is a variant of the Company's globally recognized naval navigation systems

• CG INBS features advanced capabilities for Coast Guard operations

• NSS and the use of Canadian systems on CCG vessels will support job creation and exports

July 13, 2023 — Burnaby, BC — OSI Maritime Systems (OSI) announced the signing of a contract with Lockheed Martin Canada (LMC) to deliver two shipsets of their Integrated Bridge and Navigation Systems (IBNS) for the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) Arctic/Offshore Patrol Ship (AOPS) Program.

This agreement follows the contracts for OSI to design, build and deliver the integrated bridge systems for the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) Arctic Offshore Patrol Ship, the Joint Support Ship, and Canadian Surface Combatant programs.

"The growth and progressive change NSS has brought to the industry is unprecedented, and OSI is clearly a beneficiary. The National Shipbuilding Strategy has enabled our BC operations to grow 400% since the start of our involvement in the NSS program in 2013," stated Ken Kirkpatrick, President and CEO. "Our success in Canada is critical to our international expansion strategy.”

OSI is a leading provider of advanced naval navigation systems and has established the Coast Guard vertical as the newest development in its market strategy. The new CG INBS leverages existing features in OSI's technology, such as Ice Navigation and Search and Research capabilities and calibrates the capabilities for optimal performance based on the CCG requirements.

"The agreement brings to the CCG the most capability rich and robust INBS on the market and benefits Canada with the opportunity of exporting into the vast international coast guard market," stated Jim Davison, VP, Business Development. "Having the CCG operate with a proven 'Made in Canada' solution is an invaluable vote of confidence and one that will resonate with other coast guard fleets."
