On behalf of our nearly 1,000 member companies, I want to congratulate Mr. Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada for their success in the federal election.  Mr. Trudeau conducted a spirited campaign and his party advanced important ideas for the future of the Canadian economy, sovereignty and national security.  Our industry plays a unique and significant role in this respect and we look forward to working with Mr. Trudeau and his government to strengthen and grow the Canadian defence and security industrial base.

CADSI would also like to offer congratulations to re-elected and newly elected members of Parliament.  Over the coming weeks and months we look forward to engaging with the members of Canada’s 42nd Parliament, which represent the 109,000 people who work in our industry, from coast to coast.

CADSI and its Board of Directors would also like to thank Prime Minister Harper and his government for the important efforts they have made during their time in office to strengthen Canada’s defence and security industry.
