Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
C4i Consultants today announced the successful delivery of the last in a series of simulation centre fieldings to the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF). Through this contract, C4i Consultants expanded the RSLF constructive simulation capability by adding three more constructive simulation centers in the Kingdom.
C4i Consultants today announced the successful delivery of the last in a series of simulation centres to the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF). With this milestone, the Calgary-based company has now fielded eight simulation centres in the Kingdom, providing military commanders and their staffs with unique command and control training capabilities.
Central to these training centres is the company's MILSIM constructive simulation software. MILSIM was selected by the RSLF because of its ease-of-use, multi-language interface and the flexibility in operational scenarios. The product was first fielded in the Kingdom by C4i Consultants in 2004 through a contract with the US Army's training and simulation program. MILSIM has also been fielded in the US Army.
"We are proud of and honoured by the confidence shown in us by both the RSLF and the US Army," stated Bruce Gilkes, President of C4i Consultants. "For both countries, C4i has delivered excellent training capability with very low overhead. One reason the RSLF selected MILSIM was lower cost and contractor support relative to our competition."

C4i Consultants was awarded the contract by the US Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO-STRI) earlier this year to install the MILSIM simulation system at three military sites in Saudi Arabia and to conduct initial user training. MILSIM allows the RSLF to conduct training with much less Western contractor support than other simulation systems, due to it's simple design and multi-language user interface.
MILSIM is a full-featured constructive simulation that trains leaders in decision making and command and control in a myriad of operational scenarios. MILSIM is currently fielded at eight sites throughout the Kingdom and provides valuable ongoing training for leaders and their staffs. MILSIM was first fielded to Saudi Arabia in 2004 and has since been fielded to a number of armies, including the US Army.
C4i Consultants is a privately held software company based out of Calgary, Canada that designs, builds, delivers and trains command and control, simulation and system management products. More information on C4i Consultants and MILSIM is available at http://www.c4ic.com
