Airspace Coordination Centre Modernization (ASCCM) Information Brief

Event Description

The Airspace Coordination Centre Modernization project, currently in the Definition phase of the Defence Procurement process, will dramatically improve the Canadian Army’s Airspace Coordination Centre capability by modernizing the existing Centres and integrating them into military and civilian airspace control systems.  This briefing, targeted towards defence companies in the airspace surveillance and air defence spheres, will provide information from senior Assistant Deputy Minster (Material) staff with respect to the high-level requirements related to Airspace Coordination from both an operational and support point of view, the timeline for the project activities, and an estimation of the scope arising from the project.

A prototype Mobile Support Vehicle System Special Equipment Vehicle shelter configured as envisioned by the Airspace Coordination Centre Modernization project management staff will be on display.

The presentation is to begin at 11:15 and will continue for approximately 45 minutes.
