(RFI)


This Letter of Interest (LOI) is used to provide information on the Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program to Canadian industry through Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), the Department of National Defence (DND) and Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada.


On October 25, 2021, Public Services and Procurement Canada will host a Virtual Industry Engagement Session to familiarize Canadian industry and other stakeholders with FAcT.

Presentations will provide an overview of the program, Industry Engagement to date, scope of FAcT, and include information on the Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) Policy, the Value Proposition (VP) approach and the Indigenous Participation Plan. The virtual session will also provide points of contact for the Qualified Suppliers for FAcT to allow an opportunity for Canadian industry to connect with the Qualified Suppliers.

This joint presentation will include representatives from PSPC, DND and ISED. After the Government of Canada presentation, Canada will respond to questions. Following the Question and Answer period, the Qualified Suppliers for FAcT, will each make a presentation.

Schedule: 13:00 - 17:00 Eastern Daylight Time EDT
Canada intends to use Zoom for this virtual session. Participants will need to register in order to attend the session.
The link for registration will be provided prior to the virtual session via an amendment to this LOI.
The presentation by the Government of Canada representatives will be made available through an
amendment to this LOI after the virtual session.
 

Please note that this is not a bid solicitation, and no contract will result from this LOI. There will be no short listing or pre-qualification of firms for purposes of undertaking any future work as a result of this LOI. Similarly, participation in this LOI process is not a condition or prerequisite for participation in any RFP.
