Dominis has been selected for the 2020 TechConnect Defense Innovation Award
Currently, leading edges of every propeller are finish machined by hand grinding. Hand grinding is a
non-repeatable messy art whose accuracy is measured with feeler gauges, eyeballs and templates.
Dominis Engineering has developed a proprietary process to CNC machine propellers to “final
form and finish”, thus eliminating grinding from the manufacturing process.
We are proud to announce our selection as a 2020 TechConnect Defense Innovation Awardee. The
annual TechConnect Defense Innovation Awards recognizes the top 15% of submitted Challenge
technologies as ranked by the Selection Committee.
