Canadian Cybersecurity Expert Earns First U.S. White House Tier 3 Clearance Under CMMC Program
Ottawa, ON – [2025-06-09] – Achieva Tech Incorporated is proud to announce that its founder, Arnold Villeneuve, has become the first international professional to receive White House Services Tier 3 Security Clearance under the U.S. Department of Defense’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program. Based in Canada, Mr. Villeneuve’s achievement marks a significant milestone in cross-border cybersecurity collaboration. He has become the first internationally approved CMMC Lead Assessor and Instructor.
This announcement comes as Canada accelerates its implementation of the Canadian Program for Cyber Security Certification (CPCSC)—Canada’s equivalent to the U.S. CMMC framework. As a long-standing expert in cybersecurity assessments and training, Arnold Villeneuve brings unmatched experience supporting Defense Industrial Base (DIB) suppliers on both sides of the border.
At this year’s CADSI/CANSEC event, Achieva Tech is proud to offer its full suite of CMMC and CPCSC consulting, training, and assessment readiness services to help Canadian-based defense contractors meet and maintain compliance with evolving U.S. and Canadian cybersecurity requirements.
“We are entering a new era of defense supply chain security. Canadian companies that want to stay competitive in the U.S. DoD and Canadian DND ecosystems must treat cybersecurity certification as a strategic imperative,” said Villeneuve.
