FELLFAB® Extreme Cold Sleep System (XCSS) Design Honoured With Red Dot Award: Product Design 2016

Hamilton, Ontario, Friday April 1st 2016 - The FELLFAB® designed Extreme Cold Sleep System (XCSS) has received a 2016 Red Dot Award under the category of Product Design.  The Red Dot Design Award is an international product design prize awarded by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany.  With more than 17,000 entries in 2015 alone, it is one of the largest design competitions in the world.

The FELLFAB® Extreme Cold Sleep System (XCSS) is truly a unique concept; the design of this product incorporates ergonomics, functionality, fit, thermal efficiency and comfort.

FELLFAB® is committed to designing new innovative textile products using our in house New Product Development team. “We are honoured to be selected as a winner amongst the thousands of products and innovations submitted for the Red Dot Product Design Award and extremely proud of our accomplishment for receiving international recognition highlighting our design capabilities,” says John Walma, New Product Development Manager.

The FELLFAB® designed Extreme Cold Sleep System (XCSS) will be presented in the Red Dot Design Museum on the premises of the historical Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex in Essen.
