One of the primary benefits is optical clarity. UVLED82 cures to a clear, slightly yellow-green finish, producing an almost invisible bond line. This makes it well suited for bonding lenses to housings and bezels, ensuring minimal interference with optical performance.

Selective encapsulation allows manufacturers to protect sensitive components and delicate sub-assemblies where needed most, providing robust protection with minimal impact on weight. This helps prevent failures caused by moisture, salts (such as sweat), and mechanical or thermal shock—common challenges in field-deployed equipment. With curing times measured in seconds, manufacturers achieve high throughput compared to traditional adhesive technologies.
