Arcfield Canada Awarded CMMC Level 2 Certification
CALGARY, Alberta, October 28, 2025 – Arcfield Canada Corp., a leading provider of mission sustainment solutions for the aerospace and defence sector, today announced that it has achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2, a major milestone that reinforces the company’s ongoing commitment to cybersecurity excellence.
CMMC Level 2 certification is required for contractors supporting U.S. Department of War programs and validates an organization’s ability to safeguard Federal Contract Information and Controlled Unclassified Information. The framework is built on cybersecurity and privacy standards developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
“Achieving CMMC Level 2 certification marks a significant step forward for Arcfield Canada,” said Luc Sabourin, vice president, Arcfield Canada. “It demonstrates our unwavering commitment to protecting sensitive defence information and supporting secure mission operations, and assures our government and private sector defence partners that our information technology systems meet the highest cybersecurity standards to safeguard critical mission data and systems.”
Arcfield Canada began its CMMC journey in early 2024 to prepare for its role supporting Canada’s future CF-35A fighter fleet. The company successfully implemented and validated all 110 required cybersecurity controls and more than 300 sub-controls, achieving full compliance with CMMC Level 2 standards.
“Cybersecurity is foundational to every system we design, operate and sustain,” said Kevin Kelly, chairman and chief executive officer of Arcfield. “This certification demonstrates Arcfield Canada’s leadership in delivering secure solutions and reflects a company-wide culture that prioritizes cyber readiness at every level.”
While CMMC is a U.S. government–led initiative, Arcfield Canada proactively sought CMMC Level 2 accreditation in anticipation of the roll-out of Canada’s Cyber Security Certification (CP-CSC) program. By achieving CMMC Level 2 ahead of the CP-CSC release, Arcfield Canada is well positioned to meet both U.S. and Canadian cybersecurity compliance standards.
