Canadian Distributor of US DoD CMMC Documentation Toolkit Announces Release
Press Release — For Immediate Release
Canadian Distributor Launches U.S. DoD CMMC‑Ready Policy & Procedure Templates for the Canadian Defence Industrial Base
Canada — 2025‑10‑29 — Achieva Tech today announced it is the Canadian distributor and registered partner‑reseller of the CMMC IT Documentation Toolkit, making CMMC‑ready policies, procedures, and plans immediately available to Canadian Defence Industrial Base (DIB) suppliers that must demonstrate conformance with the U.S. Department of Defence’s CMMC v2.0 requirements.
Built on the NIST SP 800‑171 control set, the Toolkit provides a field‑tested, step‑by‑step documentation system designed to accelerate readiness for CMMC assessments while reducing the cost and time required to build documentation from scratch. Canadian primes, subcontractors, and their managed service partners can now source the U.S. toolkit domestically through Achieva Tech, simplifying procurement and support across time zones.
“Canadian firms supporting U.S. defence programs need CMMC‑aligned documentation now,” said Arnold Villeneuve, Director of Achieva Tech. “As Canada’s distributor, we deliver a proven U.S. template set—policies, plans, procedures, lists, and implementation ‘how‑to’s—so teams can operationalize controls faster and be audit‑ready sooner.”
What Canadian DIB teams get (highlights):
- IT Policies — Consolidated IT security policy pack, log‑on privacy/security notice, employee acceptable‑use (rules of behaviour).
- IT Plans — Seven implementation plans covering CMMC domain areas, including Incident Response (DFARS 252.204‑7012), BC/DR, Risk Management (with quarterly meeting agendas), Asset Management, Security Awareness & Training (with three training slide decks), and Information Control & Flow.
- IT Procedures — 40+ procedure templates that serve as detailed practice evidence.
- IT Lists & Registers — Approved software list, risk register, removable‑media sign‑out and approved‑media templates, required documentation list, network/server room log.
- How‑To Guides — Onboarding, gap‑assessment kickoff‑to‑delivery, short‑ and long‑term assessment engagement patterns, and annual security assessment cadence.
