Stoeger Canada honoured with prestigious International Award for Canadian Achievements
Tuscany, Italy July 24, 2009 – Stoeger Canada (1990) Ltd. was presented the prestigious international award for “Best Performing Company” for 2008 in Tuscany, Italy. It is given for outstanding accomplishments and achievements. The award was presented personally by Cav. Ugo Gussalli Beretta, President and owner, Fabbrica d’Armi Pietro Beretta S.p.A. Beretta is one of the world's oldest corporations and it has been owned by the same family for over five hundred years.
The award is given to a company that represents the group of companies within its country in several areas including sales and trends, service, employee continuity and promotion of outdoor heritage and passion. John Mock, General Manager, Stoeger Canada accepted the award on behalf of Canada and stated “the award is not only a reflection of our companies commitment to the outdoor community but represents a statement that Canadians are truly passionate of the exceptional resources enjoyed in Canada and will always be committed to the outdoors and conservation.”

The Beretta Company was established in 1526, by gunsmith Maestro Bartolomeo Beretta.
