This event is being organised by the Ministry of National Defence of Vietnam to coincide with the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM) and ASEAN Defence Minsters’ Meeting with its Dialogue Partners (ADMM+) in Hanoi. 

It is the first Defence Expo to be organised in Vietnam and is strongly supported by the Vietnamese Government, with 300 planned exhibitors displaying their product and technologies in 15,000 square metres of indoor space and 20,000 square metres of outdoor space. 

Products and technology on display will include airborne, air defence, naval, and ground forces platforms, systems, and equipment. 

The event will provide exhibitors with access to senior Vietnamese customers, including government and military leaders, as well as visiting foreign government delegations. 

The Embassy of Canada will be supporting Canadian industry participation at Vietnam Defence 2020 through the provision of a market briefing, facilitation of B2B programs, and a reception at the Canadian Ambassador’s residence.
