SOLAXIS PURCHASED A SIXTH INDUSTRIAL 3D PRINTER

SOLAXIS PURCHASED A SIXTH INDUSTRIAL 3D PRINTER

Last April, Solaxis purchased a new Fortus 900mc (Gen II) industrial 3D printer. The machine park is now composed of six industrial printers in FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) technology, including four Fortus 900mc. This makes Solaxis a nationally recognized leader in this technology.

A powerful system

Stratasys Fortus 900 is the most powerful FDM system available. Thanks to its production flexibility and to its large build envelop (3 x 2 x 3 feet), the company meets the most demanding needs and projects with a fast build time. Moreover, complex geometries and cavities that would otherwise be problematic become practical with FDM technology.

A smart choice

Solaxis has chosen to specialize in this technology to develop unparalleled expertise. The company produces functional prototypes, low-volume production, jigs and specialized tooling with remarkable precision, repeatability and reliability.

The new industrial printer will allow Solaxis to significantly increase its production capacity and remain a leader in FDM technology, providing peace of mind and proximity with its customers. Indeed, the Bromont-based company is committed to quality service and products, ensures timely delivery and is quick throughout the business process. Moreover, their in-house engineering department, which speaks the same technical language as the client, provides a good understanding of needs and dedication to the client team.

Why additive manufacturing :

  • Reduce time to market
  • Respect schedule
  • Accelerate product development process
  • Validate product functionality
  • Repel investment in tooling
  • Make a successful marketing launch
