SOUCY DEFENSE DIVISION AT CANSEC 2018

Soucy Defense Division is pleased to be exhibiting at CANSEC on Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st May 18. Over the past 28 years Soucy has developed and manufactured Composite Rubber Track (CRT) systems to meet client’s requirements in over 10 countries worldwide ranging between weight categories 6 - 45mT.

Soucy will be showcasing in CANSEC their CRT technology on a Leopard 1 Main Battle Tank (MBT) in order to publicise the advancement in their Research and Development (R&D) on vehicles in the 45mT+ category.

Our tracks have been thoroughly tested by armies across the world and most recently by the UK MOD’s Armoured Trials and Development Unit (ATDU). ATDU, supported by BAE Systems and Soucy Defense Division put a Warrior Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) through a wide-ranging trial which covered 5,000 km.

“The Composite Rubber Track’s increased traction; improves mobility and reduces engine workload - this reduced fuel consumption by as much as 25%” (some of the findings quoted by ATDU).

Our defence Business Development (BD) teams will be on hand at CANSEC to discuss the benefits and advantages of CRT technology. Come and meet our team at booth #1032 (indoors), or at booth #3030 (outdoors) and find out more about the results following the ATDU trials.

Soucy Defense is the Global leader in CRT, offering track systems for vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) up to 47mT. Canada, Norway and the UK have used CRT operationally in Iraq and Afghanistan.
