First Canadian CADSI member inducted to the 2017 Electronic Warfare Tech Hall of Fame

Dr. Dipak Roy, CADSI industry member, has been inducted to the 2017 Electronic Warfare (EW) Technology Hall of Fame in Washington DC. Dipak is a serial entrepreneur who has created over 250 high-skilled jobs on both sides of the border. He has also been involved in many key EW technology developments that have advanced the state-of-the-art. Dipak is the first Canadian to receive this honour.

This prestigious award recognizes individuals or groups of individuals who have been prime innovators in technology development of electronic warfare (EW). These efforts resulted in significant survivability improvements for our armed forces. Induction into the Electronic Warfare Technology Hall of Fame is awarded to deserving individuals or groups of individuals who have made unique and important technical contributions to the field of electronic warfare. These can be in diverse technology areas such as components, jamming systems, receiving systems, reconnaissance/SIGINT systems, threat system understanding, software, countermeasures testing, countermeasures analysis, counter-countermeasures, etc. After careful deliberation and extensive evaluation, Dipak has been chosen to be among a select membership in the AOC Electronic Warfare Technology Hall of Fame. 

His award will be presented at the 54th Annual AOC International Symposium and Convention, which will be held November 28 through November 30 at the Marriot Marquis DC and Convention Center, Washington DC. 

He will also be recognized in the December issue of the Journal of Electronic Defense
