INKAS® Presents Upgraded Security Systems at CANSEC 2017

INKAS® Armored Vehicle Manufacturing, a Canadian-based company specializing in production of armored vehicles for private, commercial and law enforcement purposes, introduces its new line of technological integrations available for its armored vehicles at CANSEC 2017 in Ottawa from May 31-June 1.

As an industry-leading manufacturer of bulletproof vehicles, INKAS® is constantly investing in the R&D of lightweight materials, composites and integrated design solutions in order to provide its customers with the latest safety and security solutions. In addition to it, INKAS® engineering team is continuously developing innovative technological integrations providing an additional layer of protection to its customers.

Among them are vehicle-based signal jamming systems, fire source detection, smoke screen, chemical protection as well as surveillance and observation modules. These and other security systems can be installed at INKAS® armored vehicles, including the recent models presented at the CANSEC show – the 2017 INKAS® Sentry APC and armored Yukon XL Denali.

“At INKAS®, we are proud to implement the best practices in technological innovation, design and workmanship to satisfy the needs of our customers when it comes to safe and secure transportation with ever-growing threats levels around the globe. With the new line of upgraded security systems, we are able to stay at the very top of the industry and offer new generations of armored vehicles equipped to withstand modern attacks,” said David Khazanski, CEO, INKAS® Armored Vehicle Manufacturing.

INKAS® team welcomes everyone to visit its booth at CANSEC (#1815) and learn more about the new generation of its vehicles able to be equipped with innovative security solutions, such as:

Signal jamming

Industry-leading signal jamming systems designed for counter-terrorism applications and VIP protection with consistent coverage across all bands and frequencies. Rack-mounted jamming systems are equipped with high-gain omni-directional antennas offering 360 degrees of protection.

Chemical protection

Systems integrated within vehicles offer protection against chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats (NBC) as well as toxic industrial materials (TIM’s). All systems are inspected and tested in order to ensure their secure operation across a multitude of environments and within many scenarios.

Fire source detection

Integrated optical fire source detectors allow for the automatic detection of fire from a wide range of firearms, machine guns as well as rocket-propelled grenade launchers. With superior accuracy and positive identification in under one second, the system acts as a key component of any tactical vehicle or installation.

Surveillance and observation

Observation and surveillance systems are integrated into the vehicles, which can be built to any specification acting as standalone data collection points. By allowing collection of intel via sight, sound or radio transmission, observation, and surveillance vehicles play a key role in any tactical mission. A wide range of technological integrations along with various options for interior layouts contributes to their effective performance.

Smoke screen

Integrated smoke screen systems are designed to release smoke to mask the movement and location of the armored vehicle in order to increase security for its passengers.
