CADSI SME Day Turns Out Big for Providence Group

Ottawa – 23 February 2016 – Providence Group, a Canadian consulting company specializing in connecting international companies with Canadian corporations, participated at the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI) Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Day in Ottawa.

CADSI SME Day is an annual event in Ottawa that brings together both OEMs and SMEs, while maintaining focus on SMEs as they navigate through a maze of government procurement programs, outsourcing contracts from OEMs and traditional B2B networking opportunities.

“CADSI SME Day proved to be very successful in leveraging Providence Group’s B2B skills as SME Day Program consisted of the whole session dedicated to B2B meetings,” stated Volodymyr Paslavskyi, President of Providence Group.

At this event, Providence Group successfully represented two European companies in presenting their commercial interests and in better identifying their Industrial and Technical Benefits (ITB) footprint in Canada.

At the event, Providence Group met with Lockheed Martin, Bobcock Canada, Boeing Canada, Seaspan, MTU, CAE, Export Development Canada, NATO Lieut-Col James Bates and others.

As a result of these meetings, Providence Group has started a process of developing an investment opportunity for a client’s program in the amount of $9M over the first three years of a lifecycle of the program.
