Imtech Marine Canada appoints Gerry Neven as Vice-President, Industrial and Governmental Affairs

Vancouver, BC – Imtech Marine Canada today announced that Gerry Neven has been appointed as Vice-President, Industrial and Governmental Affairs.

Gerry, previously CEO/Managing Director of Imtech’s subsidiary Techsol Marine, will join the Imtech Marine Canada team with a focus on building a solid relationship with government and industry and also support the development of our maritime business.

“Gerry’s appointment is underpinning Imtech Marine’s commitment to continue to build a solid presence in the Canadian market,” said Maarten Post, Managing Director and President, Imtech Marine Canada. “We are looking to develop our business based on Imtech’s long standing presence in the Canadian market, on Techsol’s renowned reputation in Canada and on the opportunities presented by the National Shipbuilding Procurement Strategy, in which Imtech is a Tier 1 partner of Seaspan’s Vancouver Shipyards.”  

Gerry Neven provides Imtech with a considerable track record in business development and a large network in Canada’s maritime industry and will be based in Ottawa.
