Pelican Products Canada Moves Up in the Top 50 Canadian Defence Company Ranking
TORRANCE, CA —May 7, 2013 – Pelican Products Canada, the global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance protective case solutions and advanced portable lighting systems has been named for the third time in a row to Canadian Defence Review Magazine’s list of TOP 50 Canadian Defence Companies.
According to the annual CDR ranking, released on Wednesday, May 1, Pelican Products Canada climbed two spots up to # 33 from their previous ranking in 2012 (#35).
"Our team is very honoured to be included in the Top 50 Defence Companies list and to move up in our ranking this year,” said Ed Meyer, General Manager of Pelican Products Canada. "From deployments to disaster relief - we are proud to partner with and serve the Canadian Defence community by providing the toughest and most reliable products on the market”.
This is the ninth year for the CDR survey of Canada’s Top Defence Companies. There were five new companies in the survey this year that made the CDR's Top 50 Defence Companies Rankings. As in past years, an evaluation panel consisting of CDR editorial staff and independent advisors ranked the companies based on factors such as economic impact, innovation, contribution to the nation's security, and support of Canada’s military.
