Canadian Space Agency Seeks More Female Applicants for Astronaut Recruitment

The Canadian Space Agency’s (CSA) call for Astronaut applications closes on Aug. 15 and the national agency is seeking to increase diversity within its pool of potential candidates.

The CSA has received 3,300 applications, with a less of a third being from female applicants. In order to represent the diversity of Canadians more accurately, the agency is encouraging more females to apply.
