CADSI Offers Transitioning Canadian Armed Forces Members Complimentary Entry to CANSEC 2016
Ottawa, 7 April 2016 – As part of the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries’ (CADSI) ongoing support of transitioning Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members, the Association is pleased to announce that it is offering complimentary entry at CANSEC 2016 to transitioning CAF members. CANSEC is Canada’s largest global defence and security tradeshow and is hosted by CADSI 25 and 26 May at the EY Center in Ottawa, Ontario.
“This invitation is a part of CADSI’s commitment to facilitate the future career development of members of the Canadian military who have left active service and to help veterans transition into the workplace,” said CADSI President Christyn Cianfarani. “At CANSEC, transitioning CAF members will get to build their network as they position themselves for a new career as well as view the latest technologies and trends in the defence industry.”
As part of the offer, transitioning CAF members can also purchase tickets to attend the Evening Reception held on 25 May from 17:00 – 19:00. CADSI is also providing complimentary exhibit space to Veteran Affairs Canada, Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services, The Royal Canadian Legion and Canada Company.
