CADSI Statement on the Swearing-in of Prime Minister Trudeau’s Government and Cabinet

Ottawa, November 4, 2015 - The Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI), on behalf of its nearly 1,000 member companies, offers its congratulations to Prime Minister Trudeau on the swearing-in of his Government and Cabinet.

“I would like to offer our warm congratulations to Prime Minister Trudeau and his Ministers as they embark on the rewarding and challenging journey of governing this country,” stated Christyn Cianfarani, President of CADSI.  “Mr. Trudeau’s government has an ambitious agenda, including significant commitments related to defence and security broadly, as well as matters that touch specifically on Canada’s defence and security industrial base.  The Canadian defence and security industry, which has deep knowledge in some of these areas, looks forward to engaging collaboratively with Mr. Trudeau and his Ministers over the coming months and years on those files,” concluded Ms. Cianfarani.
