Webinar: Canadian Centre for Cyber Security - Analyst Interchange Program

Event Description

For years, industry has been asking for a closer, more collaborative working relationship with government to combat cyber threats. This is because we know that the best possible defence a country can field to counter its cyber adversaries, is one where goverment and industry work together.

And this makes sense.

Industry owns and controls 85% of our country's digital assets, and we have expertise to share about our systems, their vulnerabilities, and their digital interdependencies. Government, for its part, has unique insights into the nature of the cyber threat, its vectors of attack, and possesses the intelligence context to grasp its underlying motiviations and ultimate goals.

Merging the public and private domains of expertise, to provide maximum situational awareness and contextual understanding of cyber threats and how to counter them, is the end game that every cyber power is chasing.

Canada is poised to take an important first step toward better goverment-industry collaboration in cyber defence. • Tradecraft & Automation
  • Malware Analysis
  • Monitoring and Triage
  • Threat Intelligence

Industry analysts engaged in the program can expect:

  • Exposure to a broad variety of cyber issues and incidents
  • Participation in large scale cyber event responses
  • First hand access to a unique combination of cyber centre intelligence sources
  • Insights into the inner workings and services offered by CCCS and the Government of Canada
  • Closer working relationships with CCCS subject matter experts
  • An exchange of best practices and lessons learned between CCCS and participating industry
